Warranty Overview

Dark Side Auto Lab warrants that all products sold shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase (the "Warranty Period").

This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

What is Covered (Manufacturer Defects)

This warranty covers the failure of the product due to manufacturer defects in materials or craftsmanship. If a defect arises during the Warranty Period, Dark Side Auto Lab will, at its sole discretion, either:

  1. Replace the defective product with a new or refurbished equivalent.

  2. Repair the defective product.

  3. Issue a full or partial refund for the purchase price of the defective product.

What is NOT Covered (Exclusions)

This limited warranty does NOT cover any damage, malfunction, or failure resulting from:

  • Customer Abuse or Misuse: Damage caused by negligence, improper cleaning, or incorrect operation of the product.

  • Improper Installation: Failure resulting from installation that was not performed according to the manufacturer's or Dark Side Auto Lab’s specifications.

  • Physical Damage: Damage caused by accidents, collisions, road debris, fire, environmental conditions (such as flooding), or acts of nature.

  • Modification or Alteration: Any alteration, modification, or customization of the product not specifically authorized in writing by Dark Side Auto Lab.

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Including minor cosmetic flaws or degradation over time.

  • Racing or Off-Road Use (if applicable): Damage sustained during competitive events or extreme off-road use, unless the product is specifically designed and marketed for such conditions.

Warranty Claim Process

  1. Contact: To initiate a warranty claim, the original purchaser must contact Dark Side Auto Lab’s support team at info@darksideautolab.com . 

  2. Proof of Purchase: You must provide the original sales receipt or proof of purchase, including the order number and purchase date.

  3. Assessment: The customer may be required to submit photographs or videos of the alleged defect to allow our team to conduct an initial assessment.

  4. Return Authorization: If the claim is deemed potentially valid, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions for returning the product for final inspection.

  5. Shipping: The customer is typically responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to Dark Side Auto Lab.
